The Louisville Northfield real estate subdivision is located just outside of the Watterson Expressway, which makes a ring around the city, and just off of Brownsboro Road.  Built in the 1960's this home is full of ranches, two story brick homes and quite a few homes with mixed exteriors.  Some have been freshly remodeled and are amazing, and there are others that could really benefit from some work that haven't really been touched for quite a while.  If you are thinking of buying in this area and would like some more information on Louisville Northfield homes for sale, please let me know and I will glad to help out in any way possible.

The number of homes for sale in the Prospect Ky real estate market was right around 200 in the beginning of 2010, maybe 202, according to the data points collected below. In the almost three months that have passed, that number has risen 25%, adding an extra 50 or so homes to the available number of Prospect Ky homes for sale, so that now we can see that there are about 252 single family homes on the market, looking for a buyer, in 40059. It is not atypical to see a rise in housing inventory levels when spring rolls around, but a rise of this proportion is concerning and may be an indicator or slow sales for the foreseeable future.

Louisville homes for sale have seen quite a drop in asking prices over the past six or seven months, but that trend may be turning around just a bit. The last few weeks have seen a healthy increase in the median asking price that homes for sale in the Louisville real estate market are asking. In the beginning of March, the median asking price for a single family home for sale in Louisville was right at $145,000. Now, only four weeks later, that number has risen to $155,000, or a $10,000 increase! Not bad. Is this the sign of a recovery? Or maybe a sign that there are still a few buyers out there who waited until the last moment to try and grab their federal tax dollars?
